Hi! My name is De’Adrian aka Miss Mac.
I am an indecisive math nerd with an occasional goofy streak and a huge interior design obsession. Some say may unhealthy, I say huge… depends on who you ask really. But don’t ask my husband!
I like to draw, read, and thrift. My hobbies include messing with my house, talking about messing with my house and annoying my family with the mess I made in the house. BUT when I’m not doing that I am running behind our four kids to all the sporting events with my husband and high school sweetheart, Joe.
We purchased our fifth house in 2023, a 1930s Craftsman in a very small hometown in Texas. It was honestly such a blessing and while we are making this old house into our family home I decided to document our chapter.
I believe making a home is not, and isn’t supposed to be, a one size fits all. As I document my journey of making “home” for, and with, my family I hope that I can encourage you to appreciate all aspects of a home and what makes it such a special place.
So welcome to the story of our home. There’s an old house, a whole lot of projects, but even more love, and a family figuring it out along way. I hope you’ll stay awhile.
